We conduct Efficiency Studies by analyzing and reporting on effectiveness in an organization directly impacting the organization’s “bottom line.”

Scientific Management
Frederick W. Taylor’s book entitled The Principles of Scientific Management formed the basis of efficiency management theory by postulating that “work can be measured scientifically to determine maximum management effectiveness.”

An Organizing Principle
All concepts of order from the simplest system of closet arrangement to the most complex rocket technology share one essential characteristic -- an organizing principle. The idea behind the organizing principles is that any intellectual or practical system always contains a central pole, an essential priority, around which all other components group themselves.

The Process

  1. Identify the actual organizing principle (“central pole”) around which your enterprise operates.
  2. Measure the effectiveness of the various business processes based on the number of outputs relative to the number of inputs.
  3. Decide whether the organizing principle around which your business operates is right for your enterprise.
  4. Revise the organizing principle (“central pole”).
