First, what's an EVENT?
Well... the dictionary tells us "event" is derived from an old Latin word that means "to come out" and that an event is a significant occurrence or happening.

If you want to really "come out" and host a flawless and unforgettable event, consider engaging our stellar event planning services early before you do anything else.

Before we begin event planning, we ask you to answer some critical questions regarding the rationale and audience for the event:

  1. What is the event purpose?
why will there be an event?
what do you anticipate as the outcome?
what do you want attendees to gain from the event?
is this going to be a one-time event or a repeat event?
if a repeat event, how will you improve it from the one prior?

  2. What's the event goal?
    awareness, profit, or fundraising
    social/cultural, political, religious, or economic
    informational, promotional, charitable or persuasive
    very formal or informal

  3. Are there any strategic tie-ins to upcoming related events?
    trade shows
    seasons
    events in the news
special focus months or weeks: ex. Diabetes Awareness Month

  4. What type of event should you host?

    reception
    ceremony
      - awards
    party
      - office
      - company anniversary

      - holiday
      - retirement

    luncheon
    tradeshow
    conference
    seminar
    informational
    hospitality
    promotional
  5. Who is the event intended for?
Once you have determined why you are having the event, determine who the event is for.

    - Is the audience internal or external?

Internal: staff, members, volunteers, partners, donors, or management, shareholders, contractors...

External: schools, teachers, other associations, media, general public, special interest groups...

Once you've decided that an event is needed and who it's for, we assemble an event planning team to handle pre-event, event, and post-event activities.
